Prayers

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

  • Thank you, Lord, that we may find mercy and grace in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
  • Thank you, Lord, for your scriptures which instruct me.
  • Thank you, Lord, for providing men and women who live in harm’s way for my safety.
  • Thank you, Lord, that Your love for me endures forever.
  • Thank you, Lord, that I have what I need and more for the asking.
  • Thank you, Lord, for those who are strengthening me with their prayers.

 

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

  • Those with ongoing health concerns. May they never take their eyes from our Master Healer, Jesus Christ.
  • Those in nursing or homebound care. May the warmth of the Son overcome any dreary day.
  • Those suffering in the COVID-19 pandemic. Pray for the spread of the virus to be halted.  Thank God for those persevering to take care of those infected.
  • For patience as we wait for final election results, for resolutions to COVID-19, for resources to rebuild homes and livelihoods
  • Those who are job-seeking since being displaced from former employment
  • For Alan and Ahna who are recovering from COVID-19 and preparing for a move in the mission field.
  • That we may show love for others by praying faithfully for them
  • For our children to be resilient and experience God’s love no matter what environment they are placed in

 

Pray for CCC:

  • Pray that we may follow God’s command not to allow anything to stand in the way of our worship of Him. Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “’You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” Matthew 4:10
  • That we may have peace when we witness God at work even when it’s not on our timeline.
  • That we may continue to give God thanks even amidst our struggles and uncertainties because He has plans for us!
  • For next year’s leaders to have wisdom, perseverance, and discernment to follow God’s plans for CCC
  • That we may live out our purpose to honor and glorify God
  • That we be reminded in times of uncertainty and lack of understanding, that God will provide the resources for what He has called us to do
  • For our efforts to support the Shoebox Ministry for children around the world

 

To Think About: In Proverbs, God’s guide to living, we are reminded that we cannot live a blessed and happy life without God’s instruction.  When left on our own there is no standard for good and order.  When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.  Proverbs 29:18 NLT

感謝主每日同行：

 

  • 感謝主，我們能隨時祈求神的恩典和慈愛。（所以我們只管坦然無懼地來到施恩的寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠，做隨時的幫助。希伯來書4：16）
  • 感謝主用他的話語指導我。
  • 感謝在危難時保護我安全的所有人。
  • 感謝主愛我到永遠。
  • 感謝主賜我日用所需並豐富有餘。
  • 感謝弟兄姊妹用禱告鼓勵我。

 

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

 

  • 為身體軟弱和接受治療的肢體禱告，願他們仰望大醫生耶穌基督的醫治。
  • 為老人院或居家需要特別看護的長輩們禱告，願耶穌的關愛在平淡的日子中帶下明媚。
  • 為新冠病毒患者禱告；為遏制病毒的傳染禱告；感謝看顧新冠病毒患者的醫護人員，感謝他們的耐心和愛心。
  • 為有耐心等待大選結果禱告；為新冠病毒的解決辦法禱告；為家園重建和生活環境恢復所需的資源禱告。
  • 為失去工作尋找再就業機會的人禱告。
  • 為Alan 和Ahna從新冠病毒中的恢復禱告，也爲他們準備返回侍奉工場的準備工作禱告。
  • 讓我們以真誠的禱告表達對他人的關愛。
  • 為孩子們經歷的任何環境禱告，願他們都能經歷神的恩典，可以儘快適應環境。

 

為教會的需要禱告：

 

  • 讓我們謹遵神的誡命，不許有任何事務阻止我們敬拜神。耶穌說：「撒旦，退去吧！因為經上記著說：『當拜主你的神，單要侍奉他。』」馬太福音4：10
  • 當我們見證神的工作超出我們的計劃時，求神賜下平安！
  • 讓我們在艱難和不確定的環境中，依然能贊美和感謝神，因爲他是為我們做計劃的神。
  • 為新一届董事會成員獻上禱告，願他們有屬天的智慧和耐力，有洞察力跟隨神的心意。
  • 願我們生命的目的是尊主爲大，榮耀神。
  • 禱告我們可以在動蕩和迷茫中被提醒：神準備一切，滿足他呼召我們所行事工的需要。
  • 讓我們努力支持“聖誕禮物鞋盒事工“，為福音未得之地的孩子送去認識耶穌基督的機會。

思考：上帝在箴言中賜智慧指導我們的生活，提醒我們自身沒有良善和公義的標準，缺少了神的引導，我們無法活出蒙福和喜樂的人生。箴言29章第18節說：“沒有異象，民就放肆；唯遵守律法的，便為有福。”
