Prayers: September 4, 2022

Cast your cares on the Lord    and he will sustain you… (Psalm 55:22)

  • Thank you Lord, that your ability to use us doesn’t depend on a lengthy pattern of good behavior. You are willing to work through us as we are: saved and growing by grace.
  • Guide our steps, Lord. “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24
  • Pray for those joining baptism and membership classes, that as they learn more, their faith will deepen.
  • Pray for the fellowship and Bible study groups returning from summer break.
  • Thank you, Lord, for all that you have provided for CCC- our fellowship of believers, a beautiful sanctuary in which to worship, and opportunities to serve the Lord together.
  • Help us not just preach about good deeds, but go out and perform them.
  • Pray for peace and unity in our nation; may we contribute by our own humble and gentle words and deeds.
  • God, with Isaiah we pray, as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are Your ways higher than our ways. Help us to yield to Your ways.
  • Pray that our pastors will have strength and wisdom to lead God’s people at CCC
  • Pray for our missionaries, for safety for their coming in and going out in Jesus’ name.
  • We pray for our church family – for those dealing with health and mobility issues; for those who are homebound, for those with job and financial worries; for those in broken relationships. “You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.” Psalm 119:114

  • 感謝主，你使用我們的能力並不取決於我們長期的良好行為。不管我們怎麼樣你仍願意使用我們：因恩典而得救和成長。

  • 為暑假過後恢復聚會的團契和查經小組禱告。
  • 感謝主你給予CCC的一切–我們的信徒團契，一個美麗的敬拜聖所，以及一起事奉主的機會。
  • 幫助我們不只是宣揚善行，而是出去實行。
  • 為我們國家的和平與團結祈禱；願我們以自己謙卑溫和的言行作貢獻。
  • 神啊，我們與以賽亞一起祈禱，天怎樣高過地，照樣，你的道路高過我們的道路。幫助我們屈服於你的方法。
  • 愿我們的牧師有力量和智慧在CCC帶領上帝的子民。
  • 為我們的傳教士祈禱，祈求他們奉耶穌的名進出安全。
  • 為我們的教會大家庭祈禱——為那些健康和行動有問題的人、困在家裡的人、受工作和財務問題困擾的人、有關係破裂的人祈禱。“你是我藏身之處，又是我的盾牌，我甚仰望你的話語。”詩篇119:114
