Prayers – September 28, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
● for the beauty of a rainbow that appears when rain and sunshine come together bringing us hope
● that everyone can ascertain the meaning of a kind word, even in a foreign language, when said with a smile
● for the shades of gold and orange and red that paint landscapes across the autumn sky
● for equipping us with the Holy Spirit so that we will have the power and courage to go when God says ‘go’
● for the people who have been blessings in our lives
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● presenting God’s truth with patience and kindness rather than an attitude of winning an argument. 2 Timothy 2:24
● taking advantage of every opportunity to fulfill God’s purpose of sharing the good news as He has planned, for there is an appointed time for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1
● making wise use of all resources for the good of the people, even that which others might throw away. Luke 16:10
● knowing and doing what God expects of us for we are accountable to God in all things. Romans 14:12
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for patience and perseverance for those with longstandinghealth issues
● that we may fervently pray for peace for those enduring wartime situations
● for diligence and wisdom for the Search Committee evaluating candidates for the Pastor for Chinese-Speaking Ministries at CCC
● that CCC members may hear God’s call to service using the gifts with which He has equipped them
● that God will cause to grow the seeds of faith which we have planted and nurtured in family and friends

“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
感謝主……
• 為那在雨水與陽光相遇時出現的彩虹之美，帶給我們盼望。
• 主啊，願每個人都能明白善言的意義，即使是用外語說出，只要帶著微笑，也能讓人感受到主的愛與溫暖。
• 為那金黃、橘紅與深紅渲染於秋日天空中的美麗景色。
• 那些在我們生命中帶來祝福的人，藉著他們，我們看見主祢的信實與恩典。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 以忍耐與慈愛來呈現上帝的真理，而不是帶著爭勝的態度。 ─ 提摩太後書 2:24
• 把握每一個機會去成就上帝所計畫的使命，分享福音，因為凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。─ 傳道書 3:1
• 求主使我們有智慧，不浪費祢的恩典，好讓這一切都能成為眾人的益處，甚至是人看為無用的，也能被主轉化。─ 路加福音 16:10
• 求主祢提醒我們常存敬畏的心，明白並遵行祢的旨意，因我們在萬事上都要向祢交帳。 ─ 羅馬書 14:12
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 為那些長期身體有病痛的人祈求忍耐與毅力。
• 為那些身處戰爭環境的人熱切禱告，求賜下平安。
• 為CCC中文事工牧師甄選委員會祈求勤勉與智慧，以評估候選人。
• 為CCC會友能聽見上帝的呼召，運用祂所賜的恩賜來事奉。
• 為上帝親自使我們在家人與朋友心中所栽種與培育的信心種子成長。
