Pray for Pastor Joanna as she seeks additional medical opinions on the most effective cancer treatment for her condition. We praise God for her example of unconditional faith in God.
Memorial Service for Lydia Shen: The service for Mrs. Shen will be held at 10:00 a.m. (viewing at 9:30 a.m.) on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland. Mrs. Shen who passed away on April 13 was a CCC member and the wife of the late Rev. Andrew Shen, a former Visiting Pastor.

A Calling to Serve: Children’s Ministry Coordinator The Children’s Ministry Coordinator Search Committee is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as our Children’s Ministry Coordinator at CCC. Candidate must have experience working with children in a church setting and have a heart for ministry. Please pray that God’s chosen leader for CCC will sense God’s calling and be in preparation for service in our church. Feel free to tell interested candidates how to apply. ● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on the first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join a zoom call to pray followingthe direction of the pastors or for items on your mind. You may come any time during the hour for prayer in our next virtual meeting on June 2, 2026, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction.

Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.
