1. The LORD is our Helper

   4. Resist the urge to take control and instead trust in the LORD’s care!  Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth!
2. The LORD’s Love is Steadfast
   1. Psalm 121:3-6
   2. 1 Peter 5:7
   3. The comfort is not in the changing of the environment but in offering us Himself.  The sun is still raging on a hot day; that hasn’t changed.  But the shade is God’s movement of care toward us to show us His love is steadfast.
3. The LORD Secures Our Eternity
   1. Psalm 121:7-8
   2. Though we may face evil, hardship and brokenness in life, it has NO power over us!  If we belong to God and He keeps us, then nobody else can own us or take us away!
   3. Hebrews 13:6
   4. Deuteronomy 31:6
