Prayers – April 6, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
During this season of Lent, may we devote extra time in prayer, repentance, fasting and reflection on what Jesus has done for us in being our “sacrifice” for the atonement of our sins.
Thank you, Lord….
● for always being faithful to us. Psalm 89:1-2
● that you are the Lord who heals and can bring healing to the world. Exodus 15:26
● for being the Source of Truth communicated through the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17
● for your abundant grace
● for the amazing things you have done at CCC these past 90 years
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● Help us to understand that being reverent and always in a state of worship is the beginning of wisdom. Job 12:13
● Remind us we are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight….through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins Romans 3: 22-24
● Focus our hearts and our minds on what you endured for me. We are eternally grateful. Thank you for the cross.
● Lord, You let your body be taken, broken and given away for the life of the world, so in this Lenten season we pray that You would take our bodies broken by sickness, sorrow, shame, age or abuse, and bless them so they might be instruments of blessing to all those around us.
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● that those in fragile health will draw on the strength and love of Jesus to be peaceful
● for our missionaries to know the right words to use when approaching those who do not know Jesus
● that we do not ignore the voice of God guiding us when we are in the middle of our own plans
● for the continued enthusiasm of the 90th anniversary committee’s planning as we celebrate God’s goodness to CCC
● that we may experience joy in the beauty of the earth
● that we might be good role models for our children as we trust God for all our needs

● 因主永遠信實於我們。（詩篇 89:1-2）
● 因祢是醫治的主，並能帶來醫治給這世界。（出埃及記15:26）
● 因主透過聖靈傳達真理，祢是我們真理的源頭。（約翰福音 14:16-17）
● 因主賜下豐盛的恩典。
● 因主在CCC過去90年中所行的奇妙作為。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 幫助我們明白，對主祢心存敬畏並常存敬拜之心，才是智慧的開端。（約伯記 12:13）
● 提醒我們，無論我們是誰，只要相信耶穌基督，就是神的義因信耶穌基督加給一切相信的人，並沒有分別。因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀。 如今卻蒙神的恩典，因基督耶穌的救贖，就白白地稱義。（羅馬書 3:22-24）
● 讓我們的心思意念專注於主祢為我們所受的苦，我們永遠感恩，感謝主的十字架。
● 主啊，祢的身體被奪去、破碎、為世人的生命而捨去，在這四旬期，我們祈求祢取用我們因疾病、悲傷、羞恥、年老或傷害而破碎的身體，賜福我們，使我們成為周圍人的祝福。
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 願身體虛弱者能從耶穌的愛與力量中得著平安。
● 願我們的宣教士在接觸未信者時，能夠說出合適的話語。
● 願我們在忙於自己計畫時，不忽略聖靈的引導。
● 願CCC 90週年委員會的籌備工作持續充滿熱情，見證神對CCC的恩典。
● 願我們能在大地的美麗中經歷神所賜的喜樂。
● 願我們能成為子女的好榜樣，全心信靠神供應我們一切所需。
