Next Sunday, August 3, 2025 Joint Worship Service, 10:45 am While most English congregation members are at the Summer Retreat, those remaining will join Chinese congregations for worship together in the Hung Memorial Hall. Sympathy is expressed to the Family of Dr. Carroll Gunkel. Dr. Gunkel, Pastor of Mt. Vernon Place UMC when we began the Shared Ministry in 1994, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He also served as Interim Pastor of CCC from 1996 to 1999 while we were searching for a Senior Pastor. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 2 pm at Catonsville United Methodist Church, 6 Melvin Ave. Catonsville, MD 21228.

● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join as a church to pray following the direction of the pastors or for items on your mind at the time. You may come any time during family for prayer in our next virtual meeting on August 5, 2025 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be August 7, 2025. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.
