Prayers – September 14, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
● for taming our anxious thoughts so that we may have peace
● that when we commit our work to God, he’ll bring good results out of it: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)
● for the beauty of September days splashed with vibrant color
● for the love, guidance and wisdom of grandparents
● for CCC working together for the Chinatown Service Center Fall Festival fundraiser adding more than $5000 for continuing this valuable work in our community
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● following boundaries set by God so that we are free to enjoy the life He created for us to experience with Him. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32
● taking initiative to do what needs to be done. Romans 12:21
● setting an example of joyfulness that God uses to show Himself to others. Proverbs 15:13
● taking responsibility to follow what God requires to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him. Micah 6:8
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● that we may deliberately engage in conversations that cause others to think about personal faith
● that Christian workers in the mission field will make time for fellowship, connection and rest
● that we will know how to minister to those who are angry and overwhelmed
● that the nominating committee will have success in completing a ballot of dedicated and wise leaders to serve at CCC
● that there may be peace in the world
● that the one God has prepared for shepherding our Chinese-speaking congregations will hear a clear call to come

感謝主……
• 主賜下平安，安撫我們焦慮的思緒。
• 當我們把工作交託給主時，主使一切成就美好：你所做的要交託耶和華，你所謀的就必成立。《箴言》16:3
• 主賜下九月天的美麗，染上繽紛色彩。
• 主賜給我們祖父母的愛、引導與智慧。
• 感謝CCC一同努力，為華埠服務中心秋季嘉年華募款活動籌得超過5000美元，以持續支持社區中的這項寶貴事工。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 遵守上帝所設立的界線，好讓我們能自由享受祂所創造的人生：耶穌對信他的猶太人說：你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒，你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。《約翰福音》8:31-32
• 主動去做該做的事。《羅馬書》12:21
• 樹立喜樂的榜樣，讓上帝藉此向他人顯明自己。《箴言》15:13
• 負起責任，遵行上帝所要求的：世人哪！耶和華已指示你何為善。他向你所要的是什麼呢？只要你行公義，好憐憫，存謙卑的心，與你的神同行。《彌迦書》6:8
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 願我們帶著愛心主動與人交流，引導他們思考個人的信仰。
• 願宣教工場上的基督工人能安排時間團契、連結與休息。
• 願我們知道如何牧養那些憤怒且感到不堪重負的人。
• 願提名委員會能順利完成一份由忠心且有智慧的領袖組成的候選名單，以在CCC服事。
• 願世界有和平。
• 願那位被神預備來牧養我們中文會眾的人，能清楚聽見呼召並回應。
