Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

  • Thank you, Lord, that You have overcome the world.
  • Thank you, Lord, for online worship.
  • Thank you, Lord, for helping me out of my comfort zone.
  • Thank you, Lord, for Your Word that brings me hope.
  • Thank you, Lord, for those working tirelessly to care for those with coronavirus.

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

  • Those with ongoing health concerns.
  • Those in nursing or homebound care.
  • Those mourning death of loved ones.
  • That all will be committed to participating to stop COVID-19 by following mask wearing and social distancing guidelines.
  • Those experiencing delays in starting their career paths
  • For protection, courage and trust in God for those who work with the public
  • For the peace of God that passes all understanding Philippians 4:7
  • That our missionaries can continue to reach souls for Christ in an unsafe world
  • That we may adjust to how things are rather than dwelling on how we’d like them to be

Pray for CCC:

  • Pray that our stay-at-home schedule afford us more opportunities to sing about God’s love in our lives. I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs. Psalm 101:1 NLT
  • That God will lead us to discern and embrace changes that will allow us to share His Good News more effectively
  • For foresight for the Reopening Church Action Group as they plan for a return to our church building when it is safe
  • For finding teachable moments in the pandemic to share with our children
  • For the upcoming one-day retreat on joy in the pandemic
  • For God’s perfect timing for seeds to be planted for new study and fellowship groups

To Think About: In Proverbs, God’s guide to living, we are reminded that if we do not exercise the fruit of the Spirit of self-control, we are defenseless against attack from the enemies in the world. A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls. Proverbs 25:28 ESV
