Prayers

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

• Thank you, Lord, for the advice of more mature Christians.
• Thank you, Lord, that I am a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17
• Thank you, Lord, that You do not overlook the quiet faithfulness of those steadfast in prayer. Hebrews 6:10
• Thank you, Lord, for opportunities to visit loved ones.
• Thank you, Lord, that changing seasons remind me You are always at work.

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

• For those who are shut-in their homes or nursing facilities
• For continued healing and adjusting for those persevering through medical treatment
• That others may experience God’s love through the lives of the faithful at CCC
• That we might accept change gracefully
• That we may come alongside those who mourn
• For calm and peace for those frustrated by their circumstances
• For wisdom and discernment for our leaders as new events and dilemmas unfold
• For those isolated due to the pandemic
• For those in strained relationships
• For our missionaries to persevere and be protected and guided by God

Pray for CCC:

• To worship with gratitude and enthusiasm. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you—
  I whom you have delivered. Psalm71:23
• That we remember our job is always to extend the invitation to others to know God and receive His eternal promise
• To encourage all to be faithful in worship whether online or in person
• To trust God for safety and success in our plans because they are aligned with His
• To keep both God’s home and His people in the condition our Father would appreciate
• To guide every child entrusted to us to saving grace
• For the nominating process for next year’s Official Board leadership
• For its fellowship and study groups who are starting in-person meetings
• To be God- and other-centered as the Great Commandment teaches. Matthew 22:37-39

To Think About: What’s needed most if we are to be disciples of Christ? Life-Style Worship.  We must answer God’s call to come to Him (Exodus 24) and worship with singing and shouting (Psalm 95:1-3), dancing (2 Samuel 6:14), bowing (Psalm 95:6), and sometimes even silence (Habakkuk 2:20).  Our worship must be a celebration to God because we can’t help ourselves as we recognize how great He is.

• 謝謝主給我們機會探親訪友。.
• 感謝神用季節的變化提醒我 神不止息的工作。

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

• 為行動不便，不能離家外出的弟兄姊妹禱告。
• 為有耐心和信心度過持續診治和恢復調整的過程而禱告。
• 願我們教會的弟兄姊妹敬畏神的生命見證鼓勵他人能經歷神的愛。
• 禱告我們照著神的心意接受變化。
• 願我們與哀傷的人同悲哀。
• 為深陷因境而受挫的人帶來平靜與安寧禱告。
• 為我們的領袖有智慧和有決策力去面對不斷出現的新事件和難事。
• 為因疫情而被隔離的人禱告。
• 為處於不和的人際關係中的人禱告。
• 為傳教士的毅力禱告，並求神保護和引導他們服事的道路。

為教會的需要禱告：

• 讓我們以感恩和熱情來敬拜。我歌頌你的時候，我的嘴唇和你所贖我的靈魂都必歡呼。（詩篇 71:23）
• 讓我們常常記得要主動邀請別人認識神並接受他所賜的永生。
• 要鼓勵所有在現場或在網絡崇拜的會衆要真心敬拜。
• 讓我們相信神保守我們事工計劃的安全和成功，因為我們的事工計劃是對準了神的計劃。
• 禱告我們能照著神喜悅的方式維護神的殿和看顧他的子民。
• 求神引導交給我們的每一個孩子都能領受神的救恩。
• 為明年董事會領導同工的提名過程禱告。
• 求神保守恢復各實體聚會的團契和查經小組的安全。
• 讓我們遵守大使命的教導，以神和他人為中心。（馬太福音 22:37-39）

思考：我們要成為基督的門徒，最需要什麼？答案就是：在生活中敬拜神。我們必須回應神的呼召，來到他面前（出埃及記 24），用歌唱和歡呼（詩篇 95:1-3）、跳舞（2 撒母耳記 6:14）、鞠躬（詩篇 95:6），有時甚至沉默（ 哈巴谷書 2:20）來敬拜他。我們的敬拜必須是對神的歡慶，因爲當我們認識到他是偉大的神時，我們會情不自禁地向他歡呼讚美。
