“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
- Thank you, Lord, that You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations. Psalm 77:14 Thank you for making each of us a wonder in your image.
- Thank you, Lord, that your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), that your compassion never ceases and we can be renewed and refreshed every morning.
- Pray that when people look at us, they don’t size up our looks, education, skills or background, but that they see that we have been with Jesus. Acts 4:13
- In this new year, help us, Lord, to go out into the world trusting you completely.
- Pray that we may claim the promise that if we come close to God, He will come close to us. James 4:8a
- Fill us with optimism for even in the midst of struggles God gives us positive results.
- Pray for those who have lost loved ones recently.
- Pray for our church leaders – pastors, Official Board, ministry team members – that they will not grow weary of serving the Lord in CCC’s ministry.
- Thank God for healing Pastor Josh. Pray for his complete recovery and that God’s presence will sustain him and his family.
- Thank God for His blessings in our church and in our individual lives.
- Pray for loved ones in our families living through difficult times – health concerns, financial worries, job struggles, relationship problems, loneliness, and other stressors – as we place all things in the hands of our all-knowing and powerful Father, may peace and calm help them overcome.
