“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

• Thank you, Lord, for the ways You allow us to be Your hands and feet in a hurting world.
• Thank you, Lord, for the angels You put in our path.
• Thank you, Lord, for the quiet in the early morning where we may hear You more clearly.
• Lord, we do not understand the rage and devastation that occurs in the world, both manmade and from nature, but help us to find comfort in Your presence and trust in Your plan.
• Merciful God, look upon us as we enter these Forty Days bearing the mark of the cross, and bless the journey through the desert of Lent to the fountain of rebirth. As we remember our mortality and seek penitence today, we know you to be a God who is rich in forgiveness and abounding in steadfast love, love that culminates in eternal life with you. Guide our steps this Lent, so that we might find greater fulfillment in your promises and better serve others with a heart that’s reflective of you.
• Help us to tune out the world when it says to live as we please because we only live once. Rather help us follow Your Word that we live to please Him. Acts 20:24
• May we bring to mind every day Isaiah’s sermon to calm down and be quiet and not be afraid or cowardly. If we chat first with Jesus, we won’t be swayed by braggers in the world. Isaiah 7:4
• Help us to see that traditions can have a place in our church but never replace the wisdom of Scripture.
• Watch over our missionaries and allow the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom, power and perseverance for their work
• Help us to be bold in all that CCC does in Jesus’ name. May our efforts to make Christ known be pleasing to the Father.
• We pray for loved ones in our families living through difficult times – health concerns, loss of loved ones, financial worries, job struggles, relationship problems, loneliness, and other stressors – as we place all things in the hands of our all-knowing and powerful Father, may peace and calm help them overcome.

• 主啊，感謝你讓我們在這個傷痛的世界中當你的手和腳。

• 感謝主清晨的安靜，讓我們可以更清晰地聽到你的聲音。
• 主啊，我們不明白世界上發生的人為和自然的憤怒和破壞，但求你幫助我們在你的同在中找到安慰並相信你的計劃。
• 仁慈的上帝，當我們帶著十字架的印記進入這四十天時，請看顧我們，並祝福我們穿越大齋期沙漠到達重生泉源這個旅程。當我們今天想起我們的必死並尋求懺悔時，我們知道你是一位充滿寬恕並有豐盛慈愛的上帝，這種愛的最高境地就是與你同在的永生。在這個大齋期引領我們的腳步，使我們可以在你的承諾中更加充實，並以一顆反映你的心更好地服侍他人。
• 幫助我們不要聽世界所說隨心所欲地活着我們這唯一的生命，而是聽從你的話語，隨上帝的喜悅而生活。使徒行傳20:24
• 願我們每天都想起以賽亞的囑道，要沉著安靜下來，不要害怕或膽怯。如果我們先與耶穌相談，我們就不會被世界上自誇的人所左右。以賽亞書7:4
• 幫助我們看到傳統可以在我們的教會中佔一席之地，但絕不能取代聖經的智慧。
• 看顧我們的傳教士，讓聖靈為他們的工作賜予智慧、能力和毅力。
• 幫助我們剛勁地面對CCC奉耶穌之名所做的一切。願我們讓基督為人所知的努力能蒙天父喜悅。
• 為生活在困難時期的家人祈禱——健康問題、失去親人、財務問題、工作困難、人際關係問題、孤獨和其他壓力——當我們把一切都交在全知全能的天父手中時，願平安和冷靜幫助他們克服困難。
