“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to live in a nation where we may worship God freely.
  • Thank you, Lord, for being faithful even when we question Your plans.
  • Thank you, Lord, for helping hands which made our shoebox project run smoothly.
  • Pray for Christians who are persecuted because they believe in Jesus as Lord. May they be comforted and strengthened knowing the Lord is watching over them and has a special reward for them in heaven. Matthew 5:10-12
  • Pray for those who have lost loved ones, for although we know the pain of grief is temporary, it is still overwhelming for a season. Romans 8:18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
  • Renew our minds with your Word: If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. Matthew 6:14
  • Lord, who will cross our paths today in need of an encouraging word? Help us to provide it.
  • We are struggling Lord with how the world is full of hate and how killing and destruction has become the first way to resolve differences.
  • We pray for perseverance for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, and financial turmoil.
  • Forgive us, Lord, for when we ignore Your voice when that of the world beckons us elsewhere.
  • We pray for discernment for our students in this media and entertainment-oriented age so that they are able to discern truth from lies.
  • In this season of Thanksgiving, let us be grateful for how You work in our lives and not take such blessings for granted.
  • Let us think about your promise of immortality.  Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:12-13
