“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, for healing and holding the hands of those receiving medical care.
  • Thank you, Lord, for helping us use your wisdom to make difficult decisions and for the peace we feel when we have done so.
  • Thank you, Lord, for surrounding us with encouraging people, and let us surround others when they need a blessing.
  • We pray for our church, that each member will find his/her function in the body and work together to bear witness to our Savior.
  • Help us to step out in boldness to work with our neighbors to make our community a welcoming and safe place to worship.
  • We pray for our families – that parents may be patient and persevering as they teach Bible truths to their children and that children will honor and respect their parents with obedience to these truths.
  • We are grateful, Lord, that you have always had a plan of salvation for us: For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:9
  • We pray for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, and financial turmoil – help them focus on God’s goodness so that their troubles will be less burdensome.
  • We struggle, Lord, with our old self’s tendency to complain when we don’t like something. Help us to control this toxic, negative behavior that shows we don’t think God’s plan is working.  Remind us that You are greater than any negative situation.
  • Let us think about your promise to give us courage with your presence:  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
