“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Psalm 37:4

  • Thank you, Lord, for being measureless.  We are in awe of your infinite mercy, love, grace, and power.   “Do you know the mind and purposes of God? Will long searching make them known to you? Are you qualified to judge the Almighty?  He is as faultless as heaven is high—but who are you? His mind is fathomless—what can you know in comparison?  His Spirit is broader than the earth and wider than the sea. Job 11:7-9 TLB
  • Thank you, Lord, for Your plan of salvation. It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! Romans 1:16 Message
  • Thank you, Lord, for the Living Water that Jesus brings. May His Spirit flow in, out and around us.
  • In this season of Lent, may we recognize our need for repentance. Take away our spirit of laziness, idleness, or whatever else prevents spending time with You
  • We pray for those with job concerns – not having one; being in the wrong one, not knowing what to do. May God provide clarity and perseverance.
  • We pray for our city and national leaders, that they may say and do what is right and good in God’s eyes.
  • We pray for our church to follow up its discussions with action that brings Good News to our community.
  • We pray for our loved ones going through tough times – health, economic, and financial turmoil – may we figure out ways to lighten their burdens.
  • May we dwell on what God is to each of us: Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. Psalm 62:4-7 NLT
  • Remind us of your promise to give us strength: Don’t you know by now that the everlasting God, the Creator of the farthest parts of the earth, never grows faint or weary? No one can fathom the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Even the youths shall be exhausted, and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
