Prayers – August 17, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
● for guiding our church through 90 years of kingdom work
● for the saints we miss but who have enriched our lives by their example of faithfulness and humility
● for the dedication of our worship teams
● for the resources we need to be good stewards of all that You have provided
● for the joy of family
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● fulfilling our commitments even if it means unexpected sacrifice. Psalm 15:4c
● determining to accomplish God’s goals in his timing even when we meet opposition. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
● using all our energies on any work we have to do as if it were a task from the Lord. Colossians 3:23
● understanding that God looks at people and situations differently than us mortals. 1 Samuel 16:7
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● that God will raise up the next generation of church leaders around the world
● that teachers in our schools will demonstrate good values and do excellent work with our children
● for wisdom and grace for Christians living among non-believers
● for God’s protection and guidance over Christians who meet in hostile environments
● that we may pray diligently for those who have no self-control or regard for others

感謝主……
● 主祢帶領我們的教會完成九十年的國度事工。
● 因著那些已安息主懷、但以忠心與謙卑榜樣豐富我們生命的聖徒。
● 因著我們敬拜團隊的忠心事奉。
● 主祢所賜的一切資源，使我們能成為忠心良善的管家。
● 因著家庭的喜樂。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 即使需要意料之外的犧牲，也要履行我們的承諾。（詩篇15:4下）
● 即便面對反對，也要決心按著主的時間完成祢的目標。（2提摩太後書4:7-8）
● 凡事盡心竭力去做，好像是為主做的。（歌羅西書3:23）
● 明白主祢看人與看事的方式與世人不同。（1撒母耳記上16:7）
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
● 求主興起世界各地新一代的教會領袖。
● 求主使學校的教師展現良好品格，並用心教導我們的孩子。
● 為基督徒在非信徒中生活求智慧與恩典。
● 求主保守並引導在敵對環境中聚會的基督徒。
● 求主使我們殷切為那些缺乏自制、漠視他人的人禱告。
