Prayers – November 9, 2025
Prayers
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
● that I have nothing to fear, I am never alone, and I now have a purpose—to serve and glorify You. Romans 8:15
● for those first believers who had seen and heard and passed on their witness of your death and resurrection through the generations so that we may receive and act on this Good News
● that just as You provided both miracles and everyday needs yesterday, we can count on You to provide today and tomorrow. Matthew 6:28-30
● that I can hear you pass through the rustling leaves
● for the people who bring smiles to our lips
Have your way in us, LORD, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● giving God “elbow room” to let Him come into His universe as He pleases rather than confining Him to our limited perspectives and logic. Romans 8:28
● thinking only on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and commendable. If there’s anything worthy of praise, let us think on that. Philippians 4:8
● glorifying You in all that we do and not, even for a second, reverting back to the old selves that live our own way. May we recognize and remember we are free from that old life and empowered to live an obedient life for You. Galatians 2:20
● remembering Jesus is our ultimate boss. Help us to work at whatever we do with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for the health and well-being of our staff
● for comfort and peace for those with physically-limiting conditions
● for wisdom for the pastoral search committee as they interview pastoral candidates
● that our 90th anniversary celebrations will help us and others to commit to serve Him even more because we see what God has done
● for those thinking about making faith decisions
● for perseverance in efforts to share the Good News
● for joy that comes from knowing the Lord and not our circumstances

● 主祢的同在，當微風吹過樹葉時，我聽見主祢溫柔的聲音。
● 主祢讓我們身邊有那些帶來微笑與溫暖的人。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
● 願我們給上帝「施展空間」讓祂按自己的方式進入祂的宇宙，而不是局限於我們有限的觀點與邏輯。– 羅馬書 8:28
● 願我們只思想真實、可敬、正直、純潔、可愛、值得稱讚的事。凡有可稱讚之事，願我們思想它。– 腓立比書 4:8
● 願我們在一切所行的事上榮耀主，不再回到那從前按照自己意思生活的舊我。願我們認知並記得，我們已從舊生命中得自由，有能力活出順服主祢的生活。– 加拉太書：2:20
● 願我們記得耶穌是我們的至高主。幫助我們在所行的事上全心全意，無論做什麼，都要從心裡做，像是給主做的，不是給人做的。因你們知道，從主那裡必得著基業為賞賜，你們所侍奉的乃是主基督。– 歌羅西書：3:23-24
我們不只為CCC教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全……
● 為教會同工的身心健康與一切平安禱告。
● 為身體受限制或病痛中的弟兄姊妹求主賜下安慰與平安。
● 為牧師甄選委員會在面試候選人時有從神而來的智慧與辨識力禱告。
● 為教會90週年慶典禱告，願透過回顧神的恩典，激勵我們和他人更熱心地事奉主。
● 為那些正在思考信仰抉擇的人禱告，願聖靈親自引導他們認識真理。
● 為弟兄姊妹在傳揚福音的事工上持守、堅忍不懈禱告。
● 為那從認識主而來、超越環境的真實喜樂禱告。
