Pray for Pastor Joanna as she adjusts to a new chemo regimen. May God guide everyone who cares for her with wisdom and compassion.
Pastor Charles Koo’s formal role as Transition Pastor for the Chinese-Speaking Ministries ended on May 31, 2026. We appreciate him continuing to volunteer wherever needed in the near future. We thank God for his example of humility and dedication in serving at the Chinese Community Church and pray He will lead Pastor Charles to new ministry opportunities for His glory.
Sympathy is extended to the Family of Noble Wong A member of CCC [English congregation] for more than 60 years, Noble passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 after a brief illness. A Memorial Service will be held at the church on June 20, 2026 at 11 am. May God bring peace and comfort to his family.
Graduates will be honored on Sunday, June 20 at church. Please pass on names and degrees of any individuals you know who graduated since December of 2025 to the church office and EJ Lum, Membership Chair.
Missions Update Religious Education Committee has committed to support seven missionaries/mission organizations in 2026 with a $75,000.00 budget. Donations total $3,551.00 for May and YTD amount is $22,984.49. If you have questions or suggestions for CCC mission support please contact Grace Chen, the chair of the committee. Check bulletin board for some updates.
Chinatown Service Center with Housing Counseling Services will present a Workshop on Fair Housing Rights on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 10 am in the church fellowship hall. Translation provided.
Rainforest Falls VBS Registration Is Full But Waitlist is open!

● Monthly Church-wide Prayer Meeting on the first Tuesdays of the month. We invite you to join a zoom call to pray followingthe direction of the pastors or for items on your mind. You may come any time during the hour for prayer in our next virtual meeting on July 7, 2026, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Participants may pray in any language, offering only words meant for God. There should be no explanation or self-introduction.
● Mandarin Prayer Meeting and Bible Study, Tuesdays, 7 pm on zoom.
● Cantonese Prayer Meeting, Wednesdays, 7:45 pm on zoom.
Offerings and Donations are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be in July. Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

謹向 Noble Wong 先生的家人致以最深切的慰問。黃先生是CCC（英語堂）的會友，服事教會超過60年。他於2026年5月18日星期一因病去世。追思禮拜將於6月20日早上11點在教會舉行。願神賜黃先生的家人平安與慰藉。
