Worship Services, August 2, 2026
● 10:30 am Combined Cantonese and Mandarin, Pastor Jacob Li, Hung Memorial Hall
● 11:00 am English Worship will be live-stream only (zoomed) from the Summer Retreat at Messiah University. Rev. Carl Park will be the speaker. Join through the usual English Service Zoom link. There will be no in-person English Worship.
Fellowship hour is hosted by Mingguang and Yun Chai Chen Zhang in the Hung Memorial Hall at 12:10 pm. Please be in the lunch line no later than 12:30 pm.

Pray for Pastor Joanna. Thank God that she is recovering from the recent ill effects of her new chemo medicine and that her cancer markers remain at a low level. Pray that her physical strength and stamina will return soon.
Pastor Josh and His Family will be on vacation from August 3- August 12. If you need pastoral assistance during this time, please contact the church office.
Summer Retreat at Messiah University. Over 75 participants are enjoying a weekend of learning and fellowship at the retreat this weekend. We pray that God has revealed new truths and everyone returns refreshed and safe.
Missions Update Religious Education Committee has committed to support eight missionaries/mission organizations in 2026 with a $75,000.00 budget. Donations total $1,980.00 for July and YTD amount is $30,064.49. If you have questions or suggestions for CCC mission support please contact Grace Chen, the chair of the committee.
Chinatown Service Center Fundraising Event is August 29, 2026, 11:00 am – 1:30 pm Support our Chinatown Service Center outreach to the community with your presence, prayers, and service as we share our vision for helping our neighbors and have a time of fellowship, food, and entertainment. Sign up on the fellowship hall bulletin board if you can help with asking for food donations or making baked goods, selling, set-up or program.
Please Note that meetings previously accessed through the Cantonese Zoom link will need to use a new link. Contact your group leader or info@cccdc.com for details.
ESL and Citizenship Class teachers are needed for Zoom classes. See flyer on the bulletin board for details.

OFFERINGS AND DONATIONS are being received during worship services. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund. Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be in August 13.Translators are provided. You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

親愛的弟兄姊妹：主內平安。在這充滿恩典的夏季，讓我們一同來到父神面前，帶著感恩與謙卑的心，向祂獻上我們的禱告與祈求：
恩典代禱：為牧者守望：感谢神，新的化疗药物虽带来了不适和副作用影响，但徐麗娟牧师目前正在逐渐康复，并且癌症指标仍维持在较低水平。求神继续施恩，帮助她恢复体力与耐力，使她身体日渐刚强。
牧者假期安排 英語堂曹牧师和家人将于8月3日至8月12日休假。若弟兄姊妹在此期间需要牧养关怀或协助，请联系教会办公室。
暑期退修会 本周末在Messiah University 举行的暑期退修会，共有超过75位弟兄姊妹参加，并享受学习与团契的美好时光。我们求神在退修会中向众人显明主新的真理与带领，并保守每位参加者平安返家，身心得着更新。
宣教事工更新：宗教教育委員會已承諾在 2026 年支持八位宣教士／宣教機構，總預算為 75,000.00美元。7月份奉獻金額為1,980.00美元，今年截至目前總額為30,064.49美元。若您對CCC宣教支持有任何疑問或建議，請聯繫委員會主席陳恩惠姊妹。
