Pray for Pastor Joanna for physical strength and that her cancer counts will remain low during her new chemo regimen.

Interested in Baptism or Membership at CCC? New members will be received at our Joint Thanksgiving Sunday Worship Service, November 22.  Classes for baptism and membership are being scheduled now.  If you are considering a confession of faith or transfer to the CCC family, please contact one of the pastors as soon as possible.

U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon, October 24–28, 2026 During that time the Bible will be read from beginning to end without pause to honor God and proclaim the Good News. The Restaurant Fellowship has signed up to read from 9:45 pm to midnight on Sunday, October 25.  If you would like to join them or find out more details contact Feimin Zhang or https://biblathon.org/.  

Fall Family Outing  Butler’s Orchard, Sunday October 25, 2:30 – 6:00 PM. $20/person (ages 2+). Families with children of all ages are invited to join us for an afternoon of farm fun, a hayride together, snacks and fellowship. Families will drive themselves and will need to purchase their own tickets in advance as soon as possible, as peak weekends do sell out. Please contact Esther (esther.cho@cccdc.com, 253-680-9590) for more information! 

Congregation Meeting, November 1, 2026 for Election Of 2027 Official Board, 1:00 pm in Sanctuary.  Members will receive ballot and instructions for voting by next week.  If not, please inform the church office at info@cccdc.com.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: Religious Education Committee will sponsor a shoebox packing event on Sunday, November 15 right after lunch in the lower basement.  Come join the packing party! If you can’t make it, you may also pack your own shoebox, bring supplies to put in the boxes, or make a donation to help pay for shipping. Thanks to the Trustees and many helping hands who helped to declutter the church last week.  If you are thinking of donating anything, please check with the Trustees or office to be sure the church has space to store needed items.

OFFERINGS AND DONATIONS are being received during worship services.  Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. Give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 NLT. You may also send checks in the mail, add CCC to your Bill Pay service from your bank, or send offering through Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) or PayPal from website link. Checks are payable to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.  If giving through PayPal, avoid fees by designating Friends and Family from your account, not a credit card or using the PayPal Giving Fund.  Offering collection boxes are also stationed in church worship spaces. In addition to operating budget, you may designate donations to missions, Good Samaritan Fund, Chinatown Service Center, Building Fund.

Next Legal Clinic, sponsored by Chinatown Service Center and Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, will be on November5. Translators are provided.  You must reserve a spot with the Chinatown Service Center, 202-898-0061 in order to attend. Meeting details will be provided when you call.

Community Services Classes on Zoom:  English as a Second Language Class, Tuesdays @ 6 pm; Citizenship Classes, Saturday @ 9:30 am. Contact Chinatown Service Center for changes to schedule or to register and obtain the meeting link: 202-898-0061.

恩典代禱：為牧者守望：為徐麗娟牧師禱告 求主賜她身體所需的力量，保守她在新一輪化學治療期間，癌症指數持續維持在較低的水平，求主親自扶持、看顧徐牧師，賜她平安與盼望。

為教會同工選舉禱告 教會將於2026年11月1日（主日）下午1:00，在大禮堂舉行會眾大會，選舉2027年度教會委員會成員。會眾將於下週收到選票及投票說明。如未收到，請聯絡教會辦公室：info@cccdc.com。求主賜福這次選舉，帶領每一位會眾以禱告的心參與，按著主的心意選出合適的同工，使教會在新的一年裡同心合意，忠心服事主。

我們在主日崇拜時收納奉獻和捐贈，只要您樂意付出，不論是多少，請奉獻您的所能，而不是您無法奉獻的。哥林多後書8章12節說：“因為人若有願做的心，必蒙悅納，乃是照他所有的，並不是照他所無的” 您的奉獻與捐贈可以通過郵寄支票或銀行轉賬，以及用Zelle (treasurer@cccdc.com) 或用網絡PayPal的方式支持教會目前的開支。奉獻支票抬頭是：Chinese Community Church，地址是500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001；如用PayPal的方式，為免服務費請指定您賬內的親友而不是信用卡；或通過PayPal捐贈基金捐獻。教會多處都設置了奉獻箱。可指定奉獻用於運作預算，也可指定奉獻支持宣教機構、Good Samaritan Fund、華埠服務中心，或教會大樓基金。
