Prayers

Pray in thanksgiving for God’s presence in our lives:

• Thank you, Lord, that Your mercies are new every morning.
• Thank you, Lord, for peaceful nights of rest.
• Thank you, Lord, for parents, especially moms of young children for whom the pandemic has added even more tasks to an already full list.
• Thank you, Lord, that the beauty of the day distracted me from my routine so I could contemplate your power and majesty instead.
• Thank you, Lord, for Your care for me. You keep me and watch over me. Help me to do the same for others.

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ:

• Those with ongoing health concerns will trust in the healing power and plans of God
• Those in nursing or homebound care – that they will know contentment from the Lord
• For those who are weary
• That God will work in the hearts of those who don’t know they need a Savior; that we may encourage those who are disheartened because they have no hope
• To know they can call on God to restore our land because He is greater than this world
• For our pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders to be safe, inspired, and empowered by the Holy Spirit
• To know what is important to keep on our daily ‘to do’ lists
• For each of us to examine ourselves, that we are loving one another, as Christ first loved us. John 13:34-35

Pray for CCC:

• To concentrate on turning unexpected situations into opportunities to give God glory
• That God will germinate His Word in us to be examples of salt and light
• To turn matters over to God instead of insisting on our own way
• That God will teach us to use whatever gift we have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace. 1 Peter 4:10
• That we may, like Jesus, use this pandemic as a season of training in the wilderness to equip ourselves for ministry
• That in our Lenten journey, we may reflect on being like Jesus as he was throughout his ministry – exhibiting gentleness in action and word. Matthew 11:29  Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. We are called to be peacemakers and exhibit this fruit of the Spirit as we walk in the world.

To Think About: Let us focus on the majesty and power of our Father, the one who created all things and has never failed to take care of us in the past, is continually with us in the present and will continue to love us into heaven in the future.  “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:19-20 NLT  We think we know what we want or need, but God goes beyond our expectations.

禱告事項

感謝主每日同行：

• 感謝主在每個早晨賜給我們新的恩典。
• 感謝主賜予夜間平安的休息。
• 感謝主，為父母特別是為有年幼孩子的母親們，疫情給她們平時就滿負荷的工作加贈了額外辛勞。
• 謝謝主提醒我應當讓您的全能和威嚴占據我的心思意念，而不要被日光下的美景分散了注意力。
• 感謝主愛護我！你保守我、看顧我；幫助我也可以這樣愛他人。

為主內弟兄姊妹禱告：

• 為身體有長期病痛的肢體禱告，禱告他們相信神醫治的大能和他的計劃。
• 為老人院或居家需要特別看護的長輩們禱告，願他們願意瞭解神所賜的滿足喜樂。
• 為疲乏無力的人禱告。
• 為自以爲不需要救主的人禱告，求主在他們心中做改變的工作；求主讓我們有能力鼓勵這些沒有盼望、灰心失意、麻木遲鈍的人。
• 讓我們來禱告呼求神的名，復興我們的國家，因爲我們的神遠勝過這個世界。
• 求聖靈保守、激勵、賜能力給我們的牧者、宣教士和長老、執事以及各團契的帶領同工。
• 求主幫助我們知道日常生活中最重要的事項。
• 讓我們各人審視自己，我們當彼此相愛，因爲主耶穌先愛了我們。約翰福音 13:34-35

為教會的需要禱告：

• 讓教會可以專心於把不可預料的環境變成榮耀神的機會。
• 求神將他的話語在我們心中發芽生長，激勵我們為他做鹽、發光，成爲榜樣。
• 求主幫助我們不要固執己見，而是把各樣事務交給神，尋求他的旨意。
• 各人要照所得的恩賜彼此服侍，做神百般恩賜的好管家（彼得前書4:10）。
• 禱告我們可以利用疫情作爲在“曠野”的培訓時間，就像耶穌當初那樣，使我們裝備起來傳揚福音。
• 在大齋節期，讓我們反思並學習耶穌在祂整個事工中所作的榜樣，像祂那樣言行柔和（馬太福音11:29）。求主幫助我們在世行事爲人，體現聖靈的果子，可以被世人稱爲帶來和平的人 。

思考：讓我們注目於天父上帝的威嚴和大能，他創造萬物、從前一直看顧我們，現在仍然與我們同在，並將持續愛我們，直到將來我們進入天國。並知道這愛是過於人所能測度的，便叫神一切所充滿的充滿了你們。神能照著運行在我們心裡的大力，充充足足地成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。（以弗所書3:19-20）。我們認爲知道自己所需用的，但上帝給予的遠超過我們的期望。
