Scripture – Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.Philippians 3:12-13 (NIV)

12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Reflect on His Word for us:

  1. How open have I been to the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life?
  2. What are the places in my life where I am resisting God’s lead?
  3. For the decisions that you make this week, how can you be more mindful/prayerful in waiting on God’s lead ?

Following God’s will is difficult for many.  Is there a Master Plan or or do we simply use our God-given wisdom to make good choices?  Perhaps it is a “divine dance” of both where our will interacts with God’s will.
