The Chinese Community Church (CCC) is pleased to announce the opening of its Scholarship Program.   The intent of the Scholarship Program is to build up the body of Christ within the CCC through providing assistance to students in financial need while furthering their education or vocation.  The scholarship awards will be made for the 2023 – 2024 academic year.

The beneficiaries are members of CCC and believers of Christ who regularly attend CCC services and/or sponsored activities.  Along with your application, we ask that you submit your personal salvation testimony so that we can know more about your faith journey.  The beneficiaries will be students seeking to earn a Trade School Certificate, an Associate Degree, or a Bachelor’s Degree.

The total distribution for the 2023 – 2024 academic year will be determined based on the Scholarship Implementation Team’s (Evaluation Team) competitive evaluation of the applications submitted.

How To Apply – The Scholarship Application can be found using the link below.  The Application is in Word format with no restrictions on the length of the applicant’s response for each Section being evaluated.

Deadline to Apply – The on-line application must be completed and submitted by: May 1, 2023

Award Announcement – The applicants will be notified as to the status of their application no later than July 2, 2023 with the presentation of the Awards at the July 9th English Worship Service.

Supplemental Information – Documentation of financial need is especially important for those that may demonstrate financial hardship.  At a minimum, these applicants must complete the Financial Needs Assessment section that is part of the Scholarship Application.  Applicants may supplement their financial need documentation by submitting a Student Aid Report.  This report can be obtained by completing the on-line application for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2023 – 2024 academic school year on the U. S. Department of Education web site (http://cccdc.com//studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa).  The Student Aid Report is a direct output of the FAFSA application process.
